Overview
To instill in all Environmental Services staff the philosophy that the Environmental Services Department is very much involved in providing patient care, as is any other clinical department. To ensure that a clean and pleasant environment is maintained at all times for our patients, visitors and staff in all areas of our organization. To assume responsibility for all of the resources of Huntsville Hospital and the Environmental Services department by making effective use of its human resources, equipment and supplies. To invest in the people of the Environmental Services Department by developing and maintaining a spirit of trust among the staff members and leadership and to provide effective leadership through high visibility (i.e., manage by walking around)
Qualifications
Education:
HS/GED required. BS BA Degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years' supervisory experience preferred
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must be proficient in use of the Personal computer. Must relate well with people at all levels of the organization. Must possess and practice excellent time management and organizational skills. Must have the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
