**Job Summary**
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) plays a critical role in the clinical laboratory, performing various tasks to ensure accurate test results. In this position, you will work in multiple sections of the laboratory, including Blood Bank, Hematology, Coagulation, Immunology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Microbiology.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and calibrate instruments in your designated area to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform Quality Control procedures and review data to identify areas for improvement.
- Aid in optimizing laboratory performance by implementing quality assurance measures.
**Additional Duties**
- Assist with teaching and training new staff members.
- Purchase and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain written procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
