What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales / Customer Service position at Hupp Electric Motors?
Hupp Electric Motors is a Service repair shop. we are looking to add to our Customer Service Dept. If you have any knowledge on Electric Motors or enjoy working on mechanical things. You will be working closely with the repair shop mechanics.
The hours are 8am to 4:30pm, overtime may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers & fellow employees.
- Must be able to multi task, fast pace paced work.
- Enter jobs, sales orders in system.
- Take incoming calls, both new sales and service.
- Answer customer questions.
- Figure estimates, send estimates to customers, discuss estimates with customers .
- Do P&A request and work with purchasing.
- Be aware of overtime jobs and their status. Communicate with customers the status.
- Send job status reports to customers
- Work with scheduling and shop personnel
- Run credit cards
- Help in dispatching drivers – be aware where the drivers are, coordinate pick ups
- Coordinate service calls
- Take the after hours shop pager, every 4th week for weekends and after hours calls
- Basically anything & everything that would need to be done for this business
- Anything, anywhere, any time for the customer
- Follow up – follow up – follow up

Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
