Quality Supervisor

We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our team at a leading train parts manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments to maintain and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Supervise, mentor, and develop the quality team to ensure high performance and accountability
✔ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence
✔ Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to assess adherence to established standards and identify areas for improvement.

✔ Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
✔ Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and implement corrective actions
✔ Ensure compliance with quality, client and regulatory requirements

✔ Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, inspection results, and compliance status for management review.
✔ Maintain and manage documentation and reports related to quality control
✔ Lead training initiatives to promote best practices in quality and compliance

Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of experience in a quality environment (manufacturing preferred)

· Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role

· Proven ability to manage and develop a team while fostering a collaborative work environment

· Strong understanding of quality standards and quality management systems

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

· Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments

· High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
