PAY RATE:$13.85per hour (Up to 1,500 hours per year)Eligible part-time employees will receive up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day.Additionally, eligible seasonal employees will receive a $0.60 per hour seasonal bonus for all hours worked.Clickherefor details.Candidates must be 18 years of ageor olderor high school graduate and have a valid Michigan Driver's LicenseGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Work activities in this position primarily involve the maintenance of park grounds.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned.
- Performs grounds maintenance around the pool, marina, andshore areas.
- Empties trash barrels.
- Picks up litter using a prod or by hand.
- Maintains and weeds flower beds.
- Cleans picnic areas, restrooms, and roadsides.
- Operates push mower and weed whip to maintain lawn areas.
- Operates golf cart and utility vehicles.
- Operates light riding mower to maintain lawns.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands.
- Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain.
- Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors and park visitors.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to load, unload and move materials from one location to another.
