- Stock and operator two multiple spindle automatics for a normal range of operations following standard procedures and general instructions.
- Maintain established production standards.
- Operate only after set ups have been made and checked by others.
- Gage work, remove, sharpen, reset or replace dull tools, make slight adjustments when necessary.
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as maintaining oil level, keeping oil screen free of chips, turn handle on oil filter, oil reel stands, etc.
- Perform required quality checks on production parts using gages, verniers, micrometers checking parts to prescribed quality standards.
- Perform bench work (sort, repair, wash parts) as required.
- Maintain housekeeping of work bench and general machine area.
- Notify leader of machine problems.
Occasionally assist other operators and instruct lower-classed operator or trainees.
