Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure security measures are in place.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and document incidents as necessary.
- Engage with clients and visitors in a professional manner, providing assistance as needed while enforcing company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, including any loss prevention activities or breaches of protocol.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
- Maintain first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in case of emergencies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- A valid security certificate or license may be required based on state regulations.
