About the role:
We are seeking a FOH Supervisor Part-Time to assist in the daily operations at a Hurrdat Sports Bar and Grill.
Hurrdat Sports Bar and Grill strives to deliver an elevated experience for our customers who are passionate about sports, entertainment, and events. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning Restaurant & Sports Bar with an intimate live event venue featuring podcast recording, concerts, and private events.
This position is responsible for the management of daily operations. This individual must exhibit unparalleled levels of hospitality, successfully lead strong teams, maintain our brand and identity, and strive to exceed standards. This role is responsible leading the F.O.H. team members to include all service staff, and support staff. This position reports directly to our General Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
General Operations:
Partner with and work collaboratively with other members of management to achieve daily, weekly, and quarterly goals.
Assist in driving business to profitability and continuously promote sales.
Execute company initiatives as assigned.
Lead by example and enforce company policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices consistently.
Ensure protocols are enforced to prevent waste and theft.
Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, safety, and compliance are always maintained.
Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings and training.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, compliance regulations, inspections, etc.
Directly handle customer-related issues through email, phone and in person promptly.
Send End of Day (EOD) report to include key performance indicators.
Work alongside other management to maintain the most efficient operation of our dining room, bar, kitchen, and event space.
Leadership:
Foster positive company culture, build morale, and create on-going positive work environment and maintain a productive and professional workforce.
Oversee F.O.H. staff.
Attend staff meetings as scheduled
Ensure safe working environment.
Ensure proper and timely reporting of all incidents, injuries, accidents through proper channels.
Handle personnel issues in partnership with HR when needed.
Clearly communicate to staff any company updates, policy changes, and initiatives in a timely manner.
Administration:
Assist Management Team with weekly inventory, receiving and rotating incoming orders as assigned.
Maintain, enforce, and clearly communicate cleaning standards to team members.
Strive to create the best sports viewing and entertainment experience possible at all times, which includes ensuring:
o TV programming is prepared to show as many live sporting events as possible.
o A/V services are in place to provide entertainment experiences to all portions of the restaurant and patio.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum 1 year experience in multi-faceted, high-volume restaurant, venue, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven leadership skills and commitment to excellence.
Unparalleled passion for hospitality, food, and events.
Ability to successfully multi-task, delegate, and manage in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Ability to respectfully mentor, while holding team members accountable to expectations.
Must be detail-oriented, with strong execution skills.
Functional working knowledge of health department and all other related regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
Must be fluently literate in English including the ability to read, write, and communicate, conduct business related mathematics, and analyze data.
Must have proficient computer and technological skills.
Must be open to receiving constructive criticism from senior management as a guide to success.
Candidates MUST be able and willing to work a flexible schedule- including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must also be in possession of a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work is performed in a typical restaurant environment.
Will lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds using safe and proper lifting methods.
