We were founded in Lincoln, Nebraska as a small team of two in 2010, offering social media services to brands and athletes. After a decade of growth later we have grown to be a uniquely well-rounded marketing and advertising agency with in-house media, sports, entertainment, and film divisions.
Mergers and acquisitions over the years (with B2 Interactive, Disconnected Media, Digital Hero Films, Victory Fighting Championship, Hail Varsity, and Parkville Media) have grown our team to over 150 people.
We serve over 200 clients who collectively operate in 8 countries, including 43 states in the United States. Our clients range from local businesses just starting to build their brand and online presence to enterprise organizations.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Media Producer to be a part of our growing Hurrdat Media team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about podcast production, content creation, and media distribution. You will be instrumental in bringing ideas to life, working in a fast-paced environment that demands creativity and versatility. The responsibilities of this position are not always limited to standard business hours. There will be times when responsibilities include coverage of live events, media, and entertainment projects that may require occasional travel and hours that extend beyond the typical 9-to-5. This position report directly to the Hurrdat Media Network Director.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Podcast Production: You will record, edit, and master podcast sessions, ensuring high-quality output for our audience.
Content Creation: Your creativity will shine as you create engaging content not only for our podcasts but also in collaboration with other divisions and departments within the company.
Media Distribution and Syndication: Play a pivotal role in the distribution and syndication of our media content.
Account Services: You will have spokesperson duties, representing our brand and liaising with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and web teams for promotional activities, ensuring our projects receive the visibility they deserve.
Flexibility and Availability: Our industry doesn't sleep, and neither does creativity. Be prepared for occasional travel and to work beyond the typical 9-to-5, covering live events and media projects as needed.
Live Event Production: If a podcast you produce is doing a live event at Hurrdat Sports Bar, you’d be responsible for on-site production.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Professional audio production experience.
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to collaborate with clients/co-workers on various needs/projects.
Ability to conduct highly organized, detail-oriented work.
Must have flexible schedule.
Must have strong interpersonal skills/networking.
Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university preferred but will consider relevant work experience.
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check.
