Job Title: Rich Content Strategist 

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Hours: Full-Time. Monday–Thursday is 8am-5pm with the option to work from home on Tuesday. Friday is a work from home, half-day from 8am-12pm. 

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

Hurrdat is a one-of-a-kind media, marketing, and entertainment agency. 

We were founded in Lincoln, Nebraska as a small team of two in 2010, offering social media services to brands and athletes. After a decade of growth later we have grown to be a uniquely well-rounded marketing and advertising agency with in-house media, sports, entertainment, and film divisions. 

Mergers and acquisitions over the years (with B2 Interactive, Disconnected Media, Digital Hero Films, Victory Fighting Championship, Hail Varsity, and Parkville Media) have grown our team to over 150 people.  

We serve over 200 clients who collectively operate in 8 countries, including 43 states in the United States. Our clients range from local businesses just starting to build their brand and online presence to enterprise organizations. 

About the role: 

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Rich Content Strategist to join our Content Team with a specific goal of creating more visual elements to support SEO efforts. This role is designed for a visionary individual who excels in enhancing written content with rich elements such as charts, graphs, infographics, and other visual aids. The Rich Content Strategist will play a pivotal role in elevating our client's content to not only captivate and engage audiences but also significantly improve organic search visibility across traditional search results, rich search results, image search, and more. This role reports directly to the Content Director, and will collaborate with the Strategy Director and Director of Data Science. 

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): 

• Content Enhancement: Create and integrate compelling charts, graphs, infographics, and visual elements into blog and webpage content to elevate storytelling and information delivery. 

• SEO Optimization: Utilize SEO best practices to improve content visibility in search results, focusing on traditional, rich, and image search optimizations. 

• Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the content director, strategy, and data science teams to align rich content creation with overall content and SEO strategies. 

• Analytics and Improvement: Analyze content performance metrics, such as click-through rates and conversion rates, to continuously refine and optimize rich content strategies. 

• Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in rich content creation and SEO, applying innovative approaches to content enhancement. 

• Project Management: Manage rich content projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines. 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Proven experience in creating engaging rich content, including charts, graphs, and infographics, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects. 

• Strong understanding of SEO principles, especially related to rich and image search optimization. 

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. 

• Creative and analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to content strategy and optimization. 

• Proficiency in content and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics). 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. 

Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check. 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort: 

• Work is normally performed in a typical office environment. 

• Will lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds using safe and proper lifting methods.
