Summary :
Arrival / Departure Airfield Control Group (A / DACG) Heavy Equipment Operators report directly to the Shift Lead. The Heavy Equipment Operator primarily operates the 10K All-Terrain (A / T) Forklift, performs daily Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), maintains equipment logs, transports HAZMAT loads over short distances, perform site surveys and risk assessments to determine safe lifting capacities and safe environment of operations, performs ground guide spotting duties, and accompanies truck drivers on missions as required. Operators should have a working knowledge of container operations, including container lifting systems. Operators load and unload a variety of equipment and supplies to include, but not limited to, wooden pallets, 463L aircraft pallets, Internal Slingable Units (ISUs), supplies, and equipment from docks, trucks, K-loaders, and other conveyances. The Heavy Equipment Operator enforces safety practices, documents all procedures, and complies with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and workplace rules. Completes other duties as required when requested by the Shift Lead or A / DACG Supervisor.

Preferred Job Requirements :
Familiar with deployment and air mobility operations. Currently, forklift certified or has previous forklift experience to expedite recertification.
Minimum Job and Education Requirements : Valid driver's license.
