What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Technician - Pallet and Net Specialist position at Hurricane Consulting Inc?
Pallet and Net Specialist maintains all pallets for Ft. Liberty in the A / DACG 463L Pallet and Net Issue / Turn-in Facility. Inspect pallets IAW TO 35D33-2-2-2. Pallet and Net Specialist stack pallets 10 high then put those stacks of 10 into a stack of 50. Ensures the stacks of 50 pallets are stored at an angle to not let rainwater run off the pallets and prepare shipments of bad pallets. The Pallet and Net Specialist request a Transportation Account Code from AMC A4 located at Scott AFB. Prepares a DD Form 1149 and coordinate with Ft. Liberty's Freight Office to have unserviceable pallets shipped to Cadillac MI for repairs. Informs the A / DACG's Quality Control (Government) personnel if good pallets need to be re-ordered. The Pallet and Net Specialist issue pallets to requesting units with a memo signed by Unit Move. Will paint certain areas of the pallet to prevent corrosion, inventory pallets daily and send a report to A / DACG Operations Desk. Utilizes the Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART) to send a Monthly Report to AMC A4. The report will indicate the number of 463L assets on hand, providing 100% accuracy on accountability of 463L assets. Ensures availability of 463L assets to all units deploying from Pope AAF, NC.
