Operational Risk Leader

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including driver training, safety audits, and accident prevention initiatives.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with trucking operations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for drivers, maintenance staff, and other employees to promote safe practices and behaviors.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, compliance activities, and risk assessments. Prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans to handle accidents, natural disasters, and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of safety programs and risk management strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Risk Management, Transportation, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in safety and risk management within the trucking or transportation industry. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) are highly desirable.
