Job requirements
· Preferred 2 years of experience in CDL Class A Driver recruiting.
· · Proven track record of recruiting success.
Compensation for this position will be a healthy base salary plus a commission for drivers who sign with our company. Experienced, motivated recruiters can expect to earn between $65,000 and $90,000 per year. Dental, health, vision, and 401K benefits are offered.
OVERALL DUTIES: Under the direction of the Director of Recruiting, the recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants. The recruiter is expected to promote the company's reputation as a "best place to work" environment, anticipate the evolving needs of the organization, create and build relationships, identify qualified prospects, research and contact community services, employment agencies, media, and internet sites; provide organization information, opportunities, and perks; maintaining rapport.
Must stay abreast of the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws as applicable. Alerts the recruiting manager or proper point of contact for help when needed. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 2 years of experience in recruiting or closely related field. Knowledge of employment laws. Basic knowledge in Human Resource areas including training, workers' compensation, recruitment, and EEO. Must possess excellent oral and written skills. Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews, support diversity, organization skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making skills. Must have the ability to plan, direct, and coordinate appointments. Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Ability to organize prioritizes daily work, and maintain strict confidentiality. Knowledge of use of a personal computer, multi-line phone
