Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description: The Teacher of ID/Autistic Students is assigned to deliver a comprehensive educational program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for Multicat grade 9-12 and autism or behavior disorders including autism.
Length of Employment: 200 Days
Responsibilities: The ID/Autism Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
