Job Knowledge
- General Concrete labor with knowledge of heavy concrete repair, rough carpentry, masonry, caulking and Waterproofing.
- Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes
- Demolition of concrete structures, removal of materials and disposal
- Set up forms and molds for pouring concrete, ensuring they are properly aligned and leveled.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, using tools such as shovels, trowels, rakes, and floats.
- Operate power tools and machinery, such as concrete mixers, vibrators, and pumps, to facilitate the construction process.
- Perform a variety of duties in a timely manner, meeting the job requirementsFollow all OSHA, EPA and ODH policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and potential hazards from the work area.
- Follow all company and site specific safety and health program policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 to 2 years of experience as an apprentice carpenter or carpenter
- OSHA 10
- Equipment training as it relates to carpenter job title
- Ability to work according to the Blueprint for our Culture
- Completion of the FAST Safety Training – level 2 within 90 days of hire
