Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing concrete construction projects.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment required for project completion.
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the resolution of any project-related issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
  • Support the Project Manager in risk management, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing input and updates on project status and challenges.
  • Assist in the evaluation and assessment of completed projects to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or related role
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction processes and materials
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in construction
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
