The Partner Development Specialist role is responsible for managing existing partner relationships and identifying, targeting, and closing new studio, gym and virtual partners for Husk Marketplace. The Partner Development Associate will report to the VP of Operations and manage all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and will be responsible for supporting the ongoing relationship with our partners. This person will work independently as well as with other members of the team to increase gym and studio inventory, negotiate HUSK margins and member rates and prepare and review all contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management and Operational Efficiency
- Retain partners by providing best-in-class support & relationship management
- Update club rates and new offerings
- Respond to all partner inquiries in a timely manner
- Recruitment
- Drive the full sales cycle through making/sending introductory calls and emails and building the relationships to accelerate the onboarding of gym, studio and virtual partners.
- Develop creative and innovative ways to connect with national club chains and associations, regional chains and associations, and nationally and regionally recognized studios and virtual prospects
- Develop and manage a high-volume pipeline in target markets
- Work with VP of Operations to customize pitches and communications on a per brand basis as needed to expand offerings through Husk’s network
- Negotiate rates and margins according to HUSK’s best practices
- Achieve and exceed monthly goals
Job Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- 1-3 years’ relevant work experience
- Comfortable working independently
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred:
- Sales Experience with proven track record of closing deals
- Highly organized individual with previous experience in relationship building/management and reporting
- Experience with creating and delivering presentations, proposals and sales materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- This position requires the use of proprietary technology, must be tech savvy and be willing to learn internal systems
- Interest in wellness, fitness or prior experience in corporate wellness desired
