Job Description:
The Install Technician is responsible for a range of essential duties, including the installation and removal of gaming devices, progressive systems, and Gamblers Bonus systems, they provide support for route operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, extensive knowledge of electronics, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation and removal of gaming devices
- Installation and/or removal of progressive systems
- Installation of Gamblers Bonus systems
- Repair and troubleshoot all electronic equipment used in gaming machines
- Prepare and troubleshoot and repair progressive systems
- Support route operations
- Money Handling
- Safely operate company vehicle
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Extensive knowledge of electronics, operations of video poker machines, operation and procedures of installation and operation of Dispenser system on all gaming machines
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independent and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least three (2) years’ experience related experience or training preferred; or equivalent of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
- Valid NV Driver’s License and Gaming Registration required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with this job description
- Requires some standing and walking continuously throughout the entire shift
- Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, crouch and kneel
- Must be able to tolerate second hand smoke and high noise levels
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and radio
- Comfortable with heights and using ladders
Base Pay Range:
$19-$20
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
