Michelin recommended restaurant HUSO, by Marky's Caviar and two time Top Chef winner Buddha Lo in the heart of Tribeca is looking for an experienced Host/Reservationist to join our team.
Position Summary
This multi-task position consists of fine-dining customer-service responsibilities and and retail-related duties.
Schedule: 3:30pm-12am Wednesday through Sunday
As a Host at HUSO you will greet and assist retail and restaurant customers, answer phone calls, handle coat check, manage reservations via Resy, and assist the General Manager with monitoring the flow of the floor. Additionally, you will help maintain retail store front, assist retail guests, and be fully educated on Marky’s Caviar gourmet selection (especially Caviar).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
- Greet retail customers and assist them with locating retail products
- Greet and assist dine-in customers with reservations
- Assist customers over the phone (advise on reservation availability, manage Resy availability)
- Use Clover POS to ring up and process transactions as a cashier for customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate to management as needed
- Re-stock shelves with products and monitor stock levels
- Work closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient dining room flow
- Carry out kitchen tours for the guests of the restaurant
Job Type: Full-Time - Note, we do not accept 1099 independent contractors and require proof of residency.
We are closed on most major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
