Michelin recommended restaurant HUSO, by Marky's Caviar and two time Top Chef winner Buddha Lo in the heart of Tribeca is looking for an experienced Server to join our team.
Position Summary
We are looking for experienced Front Servers to join our team.
Specific availability is 3pm-12am Wednesday through Sunday with service seatings between 5:00pm and 9:30pm.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the company (opportunity to advance into a captain position).
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure while maintaining composure and being respectful to both colleagues and guests.
- Full understanding of all food items and their corresponding fire times. Must be able to drop and explain dishes to guests as well as assist with clearing tables, running beverages, etc.
- Passion to learn more about fine dining steps of service as well as all things beverage related.
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time; able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; comfortable bending, sitting, walking extended distances including up and down flights of stairs.
- Previous experience working in Fine Dining and/or Michelin starred establishment is preferred.
Job Type: Full-Time - Note, we do not accept 1099 independent contractors and require proof of residency.
We are closed on most major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
