As a Blade Utility Operator at Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC, you support the blade assembly process by performing auxiliary tasks essential for segment radius grinding, OD grinding, brazing, and finishing of diamond blades.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load and machine segments for radius grinding.
- Prep and clean cores via washing, sandblasting, and polishing.
- Assist with fixture loading on manual lasers.
- Handle materials and move blades between workstations.
- Load, sharpen, mark, and mask blades for finishing.
- Hang and remove blades from the paint line.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
- Organize and select proper tooling.
- Maintain and clean manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct visual quality checks and record completion data.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure inspection standards.
- Attention to detail and adherence to processes.
- Teamwork and precision in execution.
- Basic math and metric system knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 20 lbs.
- Standing/walking on concrete floors for full shifts.
- Exposure to powdered metal dust and sharp edges.
