Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Service, Installation, and Warehouse teams in completing their tasks. This role involves providing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers, maintaining a clean work area, machines, and tools, and holding materials or tools for other workers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving of materials, staging, and inventory.
- Examine and test machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with the assembly of gang boxes and job materials for projects.
- Position vehicles, machinery, equipment, and other objects for assembly, installation, and/or service.
- Maintain physical structures/offices by performing general work.
- Visit job sites as needed to deliver and exchange parts, tools, or equipment.
- Occasionally assist on job sites to move or set equipment and cases.
Qualifications
Formal Education Requirement: High School Or GED
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: Zero Years of Experience
Additional Information:
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record according to the Fleet Policy.
- Must be physically able to walk distances, bend, and crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as required.
- Strong leadership and business acumen.
- Superior decision-making ability and paperwork skills.
- Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or commercial refrigeration and HVAC is preferred.
