About the Position:
We're seeking a talented Operations Technician who can assist our teams with various tasks such as shipping and receiving, staging and inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Furnish tools, materials and supplies to team members.
- Maintain a clean work environment, including equipment and tools.
- Hold materials or tools for team members as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of materials, staging and inventory.
- Examine and test machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with assembly of gang boxes and job materials for projects.
- Position vehicles, machinery, equipment, and other objects for assembly, installation, and/or service.
- Maintain physical structures/offices by doing general work.
- Deliver and exchange parts, tools, or equipment at job sites as needed.
- Occasionally help on job sites to move or set equipment and cases.
Requirements:
- Formal Education Requirement: High School Or GED.
- Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 0 years.
- Additional Information:
- Must have a Valid Drivers License and maintain a safe driving record according to the Fleet Policy.
- Must be physically able to walk distances, bend, crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
- Strong leadership and business acumen.
- Superior decision-making ability and paperwork skills.
- Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or commercial refrigeration and HVAC is preferred.
