Description
The Husson University School of Pharmacy is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a three-credit Pharmaceutics course and a one-credit Pharmaceutics laboratory for PharmD students. The course and laboratory will be offered for the Spring 2025 semester, which begins on January 21 and continues through May 9. While it is preferable for one individual to teach both the course and laboratory, separate hires for each will be considered. Some flexibility exists as to the meeting times for the course and laboratory. The ability to provide in-person instruction is preferred; although online delivery for the Pharmaceutics course will be considered.
Examples of Duties
The selected individual(s) will coordinate and deliver all aspects of the Pharmaceutics course, including lectures, as well as quiz and exam creation and administration. Faculty are expected to cover the performance indicators (learning objectives) that have been determined for the course and include active learning activities. For the laboratory, the individual will prepare, in conjunction with a laboratory assistant, and deliver all laboratory-related activities and assessments. Preparation time outside of regular laboratory times will be required to prepare for and clean up from each laboratory session. Instructional resources to assist with lecture and laboratory preparation are available.
Typical Qualifications

A PharmD or PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is required. Postsecondary teaching experience is a plus.
