You'll manage a range of project sizes, from smaller sites to large-scale replacements on military bases and multifamily properties with roofing systems covering 100,000 square feet. Key Responsibilities
- Traveling Role: Oversee projects ranging from one-week jobs to several-month installations across various U.S. locations.
- Project Setup: Arrive first on-site to prepare for full replacement projects and ensure teams and materials are in place.
- Scope of Work: Manage projects that include shingle replacements and other exterior elements, such as siding, gutters, and flashing.
- Subcontractor Collaboration: Work closely with installation teams and subcontractors, keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
- Military Base Experience: Conduct projects on military bases, ensuring compliance with unique requirements.
- Bilingual Skills: Spanish language skills are a plus to facilitate smooth communication with diverse teams.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records using software such as CenterPoint Connect, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in project management, preferably within roofing or construction. 5 years or more preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with roofing systems, safety codes, and construction best practices.
- Leadership & Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, oversee installation teams, and maintain quality standards.
- Technology: Comfortable using project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, CenterPoint, FCS) and smartphone applications for on-site operations.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, Fall Protection, or similar certifications preferred.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license, ability to travel extensively, and flexibility for varying project durations.
