Job Description:
The Public Relations Assistant will work alongside the PR team to implement strategies and assist with day-to-day activities related to public relations, media outreach, and communication. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, creative environment while helping to shape the public perception of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate and schedule media interviews, events, and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and create daily press clips reports.
- Help manage and update press lists and databases.
- Support the PR team with social media content creation and strategy.
- Assist in preparing presentations, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and other materials relevant to PR activities.
- Assist with event planning and logistics for press events or company functions.
- Provide general administrative support to the PR team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating team communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of social media platforms is a plus.
- Previous internship or work experience in public relations or communications is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
