ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer II to support the build-out of products within the Hut 8 ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and the broader product team to develop intuitive, scalable, and responsive user interfaces. Your focus will be on implementing features, ensuring technical excellence, and contributing to the overall user experience, all of which will directly impact the usability and quality of our platforms. This role is ideal for someone with solid frontend expertise who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow under the mentorship of experienced team members.
Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following :
- Develop visually appealing and highly functional frontend applications using React and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to implement features and ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend.
- Translate design and product specifications into responsive, accessible web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to established best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge within the team.
- Work closely with a senior engineer to troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize performance, and implement scalable solutions.
- Stay informed on emerging frontend technologies and contribute ideas to improve the development process and product quality.
