Job Description
- As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing process development and industrialization for new products and improving existing processes.
- You will develop and maintain relationships with production planning, operations, and product engineering personnel.
- You will apply APQP principles to plan and design manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Review and evaluate proposed and processed engineering changes and/or other specification requirements.
- Troubleshoot main process issues, including tooling issues.
- Implement process improvements to drive tighter capability of our manufacturing processes using SPC principles.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree and one to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Rubber to metal molding engineering experience is highly desired.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in component manufacturing.
- Experience in adhesives and application of adhesives to metals used in rubber to metal molding.
