Vehicle Repair Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Hutchinson Ford of Forsyth. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with customers to determine their vehicle repair or service needs, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing the work of technicians. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers to determine their vehicle repair or service needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor vehicle progress and update customers regularly on the status of their vehicles.
• Maximize sales and execute promotions to increase profitability and revenue.
• Oversee technicians working on customer vehicles, including time management and quality control.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• A valid commercial driver's license and clean driving record are necessary for safe operation of company vehicles.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor is essential for success in this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration with customers and colleagues.
• The ability to multitask and concentrate in a fast-paced environment is crucial for meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary for managing customer information and performing administrative tasks.
