Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. This part-time position is scheduled for 48 hours per pay period, with a mix of days, evenings, and every 4th weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes a positive environment among the laboratory team.
- Performs phlebotomy and prepares specimens for analysis.
- Conducts computer functions, including test requisition and quality documentation.
- Performs high complexity laboratory testing according to protocol.
- Evaluates specimens and patient results for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
- ASCP certification required, with ability to obtain within six months if eligible.
- Experience in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank.
- Manual dexterity and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent computer skills and ability to work independently.
