Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transaction Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth transactions within the financial services sector, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing exceptional support throughout the loan origination process. This position requires a strong understanding of various financial processes, including FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, and underwriting practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the transaction process from initiation to closing.
- Review contracts and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Maintain communication with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely processing of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of loan documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to TILA regulations.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry and documentation management.
- Collaborate with escrow agents to ensure proper handling of funds and documentation.
- Monitor timelines and deadlines to ensure all transactions are completed efficiently.
- Provide support in resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
Experience
- Previous experience in a transaction coordinator role or similar position within the financial services industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, underwriting processes, and loan origination is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using various software applications related to banking and financial services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of escrow processes is a plus.
