Performs accounts payable accounting functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Processes incoming mail and matches invoice quantities and prices to purchase orders.
- Requests checks to be processed.
- Delivers posted invoices to appropriate staff to prepare for matching of invoices to checks for mailing.
- Distributes computerized reports.
- Updates vendor master file.
- Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Computer skills, calculator proficiency, data entry skills.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of the principles of accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
