What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSS Clinical Lead-Horizons- Full Time position at Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System?
As a CSS Clinical Lead this individual will be responsible for the day to day direction given to a treatment team that is comprised of 7-9 interdisciplinary team members (this includes Case Managers, Peer Support Specialists, Care Coordinators and IPS Employment Specialists). While this is not a supervisory position over this team, this person will provide clinical oversight over the treatment of the clients on these teams and will help direct the staff to provide medically necessary services in a way that is clinically appropriate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with CSS Clinical Manager to process referrals and establish which treatment team clients need to be assigned to.
- Assist CSS Clinical Manager in completing CSS Assessments as needed.
- Assist CSS Clinical Manager, as needed, with training and education of CSS team members.
- Provide coverage for the clinical assignments of other CSS Clinical Lead staff when needed.
- Provide day to day/week to week direction to the treatment team regarding client service delivery in the community and triaging client needs.
- Provide clinical oversight and support for designated team members who are providing case management, peer support, and IPS services.
- Maintain a caseload of assigned CSS clients both for the purpose of chart management as well as outpatient therapy services (chart management includes but is not limited to diagnosing, treatment planning, discharge planning, utilization review, chronicity determination, clinical assessments, etc.).
- Regularly review and update treatment plans for assigned clients.
- Work collaboratively with other treatment teams to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to each client.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficient in electronic documentation, good computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Community Mental Health services
- Strong organizational skills
- Good time management skills

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Professional Counseling
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Three to five years working with diagnosing and treating the SPMI/SMI or SED populations.
- Understand integrating care with other providers.
- Three to five years of experience working with diverse client populations including high-risk populations.
LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- BSRB Licensed Masters Level Clinician.
- All necessary trainings for delivering specialized care, including all applicable trainings for being a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- Valid Driver’s License.
PREFERRED LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION:
- Clinical Level Licensure by BSRB
