Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Tax Accountant (Associate) with hands-on experience in preparing individual and entity tax returns. This is a full-time position at our office in Bellevue with some remote work flexibility as approved.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications and attributes:

· Holds a current Certified Public Accountant license or in active progress with exams in Washington state.

· Has one or more years of experience in public accounting.

· Demonstrates proficiency in preparing 1040, 709, 1041, 1120S, and 1065.

· Has experience preparing tax estimates.

· Shows a high comfort level of communicating with clients in a competent, concise, and timely manner.

· Is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

· Exhibits meticulous attention to details and a strong bias for follow-through.

Capabilities and experience in the following are a plus:

· CCH Axcess

· CCH ProSystem fx Engagement

· QuickBooks Online

· 1099 Preparation

· State and Local Tax Returns

· Payroll Tax Reports

For individuals hired to work in the Seattle and Bellevue area, a reasonable estimate of the annual salary range for this full-time role is $70,000.00 to $110,000.00 at the time of this job posting. The actual salary offer can vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to skillsets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, applicable geographic differentials, and business and organizational needs.
