Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to Account Managers involved with the sales of prototype and pre-production orders to Hutchinson’s customers and prospects in the region. The successful delivery of a first spot orders is a “stepping stone” to developing solid and long term partnerships.
The duties also include a supporting role with active communication and marketing efforts in front of Hutchinson’s customers.
The position acts as a “face” of the company with a goal to elevate brand awareness and recognition for Hutchinson Belt Drive Systems in the North American light and heavy duty industrial market.
Essential Job Functions
- Utilize Hutchinson tools to coordinate spot buy orders prototype and pre-production RFQ’s
- Provide office support to Sales Staff with the set-up of new customer accounts with the accounting personnel
- Quote prototype costs with the support of Prototype shops located in France, Mexico, and the Sales personnel in N.A.
- Accountable for on-time deliveries of first orders to all customers
- Coordinate and communicate prototype delivery schedules to Automotive and Appliance OEMS, in addition to Industry
- Primary liaison for prototype management to the manufacturing plants, process engineers and product engineers.
- Coordinate and communicate the publication of annual pricing revisions set by the Sales managers to the various tiers of industry customers
- Gather and maintain CRM database.
