What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCRAP TECHNICIAN - PLANT 2 position at Hutchinson?
- Able to perform shift handoff
- Data entry across shifts
- Performs scrap collection and verification through the shift
- Enforce of quality policies
- Safety responsibilities, vision/ability to wear PPE, awareness in forklift areas. Security protocols
- Weigh and calculate weights of scrap material prior to loading into scrap collection containers
- Understand and know all part numbers within the plant they are based
- Able to identify the stage that the scrap material is at in the WIP process for reporting
- Able to inventory through calculations and report scrap material for their shift
- Ability to escalate quality issues related to scrap to the appropriate party on their shift
- Follow work instructions for the department
- Able to perform 6s cleaning
- Other duties as assigned, including inventory process as required

With the corporate office located in Auburn Hills, MI Hutchinson Fluid Management Systems, Inc., We design and produce the lines needed for all their car and truck fluid transfer systems. Our solutions enable them to manage their turbocharged air intake, engine cooling and fuel injection systems. We also provide the lines required for pollution control systems, such as particulate filters, blow-by and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), as well as assisted steering and air conditioning lines. Our manufacturing sites in the United States are located in Livingston, Tennessee.
