Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works on different clients' accounting systems and act as an outsourced bookkeeping resource.
- Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal requirements compliance.
- Conducts reviews of work completed by other members of the team.
- Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Communicates with clients and team members to ensure task are completed accurately and timely.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements for the Role:
- Ability to work in-office five (5) days a week with preferred hours of 8:30am -5:30pm.
- 3 years of professional bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration/Management, or Accounting, with relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
- Willing to assume responsibility for assigned work without undue supervision.
- Has the ability to train and supervise other members of an accounting team.
- Highly proficient with Excel.
- Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks online and Sage preferred.
