Primary Purpose:
The Executive Director of Elementary Schools provides leadership, direction, and supervision for
schools’ efficient operational and academic management by directly supervising elementary
principals. This position supports the continued growth of principals to increase effectiveness and is
responsible for the supervision of assigned school leaders, continuous improvement of schools and
ensuring student achievement gains at the school level.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master’s degree in administration or related field required
Doctorate preferred
Valid Texas administrator’s certificate required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Excellent decision-making skills
Ability to resolve conflict and listen and appropriately respond to concerns
Demonstrated skills in instructional and campus leadership
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to effectively evaluate and support campus leaders
Experience:
Seven years of administrative or supervisory experience preferred
Three or more years of experience as a school administrator required
Three years of central office experience preferred
Salary : $108,668 - $147,020
