Main Responsibilities:
- Provide primary healthcare services to students, promoting healthy habits and preventive practices.
- Develop and implement programs to educate students on health-related topics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
- A graduate degree from an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Valid registered nurse license in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Certification by the Texas Department of Health for vision and hearing screening, as well as CPR certification.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong knowledge of health appraisal to identify potential health defects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement policies and procedures effectively.
Experience:
- Two years of experience in community health, preferably in a similar setting.
