Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Aloha POS system or other POS systems to process orders accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance with drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Assist in banquet and catering events as required, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately, ensuring proper math calculations for tabs and tips.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- A background in hospitality or catering can enhance your application but is not required.
