Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and receiving processes, as well as familiarity with e-commerce operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all packages are processed accurately and efficiently.

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Load and unload packages from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements in the AS400 system.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements.

Experience

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including knowledge of e-commerce logistics.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.35 - $17.05 per hour
