What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Huvepharma?
We are hiring a production operator for our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Van Buren, AR. If you have at least 1 year of experience in a production-based role, and/or machine/process operator experience with a batching, filling, CGMP, and packaging operation, let’s talk!
What to expect as the pharmaceutical production operator:
- 5 X 8 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Some overtime available

Duties of the pharmaceutical production operator:
- Operate packaging equipment, material handling equipment, and monitor downstream equipment for effective operation
- Perform work assigned daily in accordance with the unit leader or production supervisor instructions and batch recording requirements
- Report all deviations from batch record requirements, SOPs (standard operating procedure) or company policy, or equipment failure immediately
- Accurately and immediately complete information required on batch records
- Clean units in accordance with strict SOPs and ensure packaging area is monitored between batches to prevent contamination of components and supplies
- Follow all health and safety requirements and comply with OSHA, GMP regulations
- Perform quality checks during and between production batches including scale checks, lot number verification, and weight checks
- Assure samples are taken in accordance with regulations and strict SOPs
- Work with quality control to ensure bulk shipments are unloaded and sampled in accordance with SOPs
- Work in controlled and uncontrolled temperature environments
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by unit leader or production supervisor
Requirements to be the pharmaceutical production operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in a production based environment, preferably with a batching, filling, CGMP, and packaging operation
- Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, USDA) is highly desired
