AWS Python Developer - Hybrid Role in Radnor, PA
We are seeking a talented AWS / Python Developer to join our Risk and Investment Technology team at a leading financial services firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cloud-native solutions for Market and Enterprise Risk Management within Lincoln's prestigious risk management program. The ideal candidate will be part of a highly collaborative environment, developing proprietary applications using the latest technologies.
What you'll be doing : - Develop robust object-oriented code in Python focusing on middleware and backend solutions. - Leverage AWS Cloud Formation Templates / CDK for effective infrastructure provisioning. - Design, implement, manage microservices architecture utilizing various serverless offerings from AWS such as Lambda (Python), API Gateway etc., enhancing application scalability & reliability.
Skills we're looking for :
- Strong experience with Linux or Windows operating systems along with debugging capabilities across these platforms including the wider spectrum of AWS cloud environments
- Proficient understanding of event-driven architectures; capability to build efficient systems integrating Amazon Event Bridge among other tools like SNS / SQS
- Knowledgeable about implementing Infrastructure-as-code practices through tools like CloudFormation or Aws CDk is crucial
The role requires presence 3 days per week at our office location in Philadelphia area but allows flexibility otherwise making it hybrid by design-perfect balance between remote work freedom while keeping touchpoints that foster teamwork!
