Job Description:
Position Summary: As a GenAI Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions to optimize various aspects of retail operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. You will leverage your expertise in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning, combined with your retail industry experience, to design and implement innovative solutions that address complex challenges and opportunities within the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy generative AI models to solve specific problems, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, pricing optimization, and personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and retail experts, to identify and prioritize AI-driven projects.
- Analyze large datasets from various retail sources to extract actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Design, train, and fine-tune machine learning models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of retail processes.
- Implement and integrate AI solutions into existing retail systems and platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed AI models, continuously refining and optimizing them to enhance results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and retail technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to the growth of our AI capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven experience as a GenAI Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role, with a focus on the retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- In-depth understanding of generative AI techniques, including GANs, VAEs, and transformers.
- Familiarity with retail-specific data sources, such as POS systems, CRM databases, and e-commerce platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Experience in deploying AI models in production environments and integrating them with existing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in the retail domain is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a retail organization or on retail-focused AI projects.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
