IT Asset Management Analyst
About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management Analyst at X to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking, compliance, and optimization of laptops in the X environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with asset management systems, and a solid understanding of inventory management best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Asset Tracking & Management :
Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets.
Support the procurement process by reviewing asset requirements, assisting with purchase orders, and ensuring that assets are acquired according to X needs.
Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of IT assets to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Generate regular reports on asset status, usage, lifecycle, and disposal for management review.
Ensure that all IT assets are properly secured and decommissioned for data protection and disposal, including the wiping of data from devices.
Liaise with various departments (IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal) to ensure seamless asset management and resolve any asset-related issues.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes for asset and inventory management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
