Join our client in Stamford, CT as a Market Risk Software Engineer to enhance their portfolio risk platform, crucial for assessing fund performance and risk management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement cloud-first strategies to improve our market risk platform.
- Develop batch and real-time data pipelines for automated trading metrics.
- Create microservices to distribute large datasets across various teams.
- Address and resolve issues in live trading environments to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Expertise in Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud migration projects and object-oriented programming (Python, C#, Java, Scala).
- Ability to develop equity multi-asset management systems from inception to delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of software architecture and CI/CD practices.
