Principal Backend Software Engineer
A leading innovation lab out of Boston is looking to bring on a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design & development of core backend systems.
This person will be responsible for leading technical innovation of highly complex, large-scale, extremely performant distributed systems that support the firm's core compute platforms.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of professional software development experience; proven success in the design & development of large, high-performance distributed systems
- Expertise with Python backend development
- Highly skilled developing in AWS cloud-native environments
- Deep knowledge of complex mathematical and algorithmic problems and principles
- Experience with containerization, building CI / CD pipelines and IaC
- Ability to be a thought leader in technical innovation; partnering with technical & non-technical members to discover, define, prototype & implement new technologies and solutions that are cutting-edge, scalable and cost-effective
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or related STEM field)
