Human Resources Specialist - Administration
Compensation: $53,000-$66,000 plus profit sharing bonuses (Estimated $0-$4,000 annually)
Location: Minneapolis, KS
Critical Role in a Culture-Driven Organization- No direct experience needed if strong administrator.
Huyett is a family-owned industrial distributor with operations in multiple states and an in-field sales team. We are seeking a strong and creative administrator that will learn and contribute to our robust personnel and talent management process as well as process payroll. The individual reports to the Human Resources Manager and is part of a six-person multi-state team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive and companywide employee information management, archive, retrieval, and retention.
- EEOC, Diversity, and Inclusion policy and regulatory compliance, including firm-wide goals to improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Payroll processing, payroll compliance; and payroll and pay rate management and maintenance, including all regulatory and Internal Revenue Service filing.
- Separation of Employment Management.
- Document Management System (DMS) development and support as required.
- Work Instructions management as required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and protect confidential information.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Outgoing, friendly, and professional with an organized approach.
- Critical thinker with problem-solving and strategic skill.
- Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
- Relevant Education preferred but not required.
