ResponsibilitiesCase Management and Care Coordination:
- Answer intake calls for the case management line, gathering medical history and documenting triage findings.
- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling clinic appointments, obtaining medical records, and faxing documents.
- Obtain and process release of information (ROI) requests for medical records.
- Perform triage, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Assist in diagnostic tests such as audiometry, spirometry, and urine drug screenings.
- Support patient exams by preparing patients, performing basic tests, and assisting the Medical Director.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, workplace safety, and medical standards.
- Translate medical records as needed.
- Provide Spanish language translation during patient interactions, including telemedicine appointments.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant (preferred).
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
- Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
- Spanish language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required.
- Experience in a clinical or case management setting (preferred).
- Experience with medical translation or interpretation (preferred).
